Phuket, Thailand – Our best kept secret, Raya Island

I’ve been to many islands. But Raya island remains the top of my list no matter where I go. I’ve never seen sand so fine, and water so clear.

As compared to Maya Bay/ Phi Phi Island tour which is hours and hours away, Raya Island is much nearer to where we often stay at in Kata.

After dropping our belongings at the beach, we were brought to a spot for our snorkelling experience.

The tourguide was showing me something but this blind cat couldn’t spot anything at all.

No edits required on the photos, the water is that clear.

The water is so clear you can see your own shadow etched on the seabed it’s madness.
